How it works

Reservations & availability

Reserve or walk up
Text us to reserve in advance, or stop by Nahant Beach when you're ready — we're here to help you find the right gear.

Nahant Beach

Designated surf zones
You must stay in the marked surf areas. Do not paddle or ride outside the zones set for surfing.
Lifeguards
Follow all instructions from on-duty lifeguards, including flags and verbal directions.
Dangerous weather
We cancel sales, demos, and rentals on days when surf conditions are dangerous. Your safety comes first — we'll let you know if we need to reschedule or refund.
Conduct
Misconduct or breaking Nahant Beach rules while using our equipment may result in cancellation of your demo or rental without a refund.

Your responsibility

Damage to demo boards
You are responsible for damage to a demo board while it is in your care. Dings happen — treat the board with care and let us know if anything occurs.
Lost or damaged gear
We reserve the right to charge your card on file for damaged or lost wetsuit or GoPro rental equipment, in line with your agreement.
Injury disclaimer
We are not liable for any injury associated with your use of our equipment. Surfing involves risk; you accept that risk when you demo or rent.

Treat the gear right

No personal wax
Do not apply your own wax to the demo board. We will wax it for you so the deck stays consistent and the board stays in good shape.
Keep it out of the sun
Do not leave the board lying in the hot sun. Heat and UV can damage the deck — an easy way to avoid a charge is to keep the board shaded when not in the water.
Return the right board
All demo boards are numbered. Be sure to return the same board you checked out.

Footage

Corrupt footage
If your footage comes out corrupt, we will refund you for the GoPro rental. Let us know before you leave the beach when possible.
